The Natural Elements Spa inspiration Spa serving clients as a satellite
office for The Washington Institute of Natural Medicine
will prepare you to qualify and test for the American
Reflexology Certification Board. Qualify
and prepare for the highest standard of credentials in
reflexology recognized throughout the United States.
The
Washington Institute of Natural Medicine offers a prep
course that provides:

110 hours of course work required to qualify for
testing

hours of reflexology theory, history, zones,
meridians and relaxation response

hours of body systems as related to reflexology,
leg and foot structure, hands-on palpations, and
map of reflexes as they are anatomically
reflected on the feet.

hours of business practice which involves ethics
and business standards and local/state laws and
ordinances pertaining to the practice of
Reflexology

hours or more of supervised practicum or
clinical work
• supervise and conduct clinical hours to
meet the 90 post-graduate sessions required
• review to prepare for the ARCB testing
• provide all necessary documentation required to
qualify for testing

taking the class to earn CEUs, choose one of the classes
described below. NCMTB requires submission of an exam
and practicum forms. NCMTB providers are approved within

The Washington Institute has an Educational
Services License in Washington, D.C. and offers
Coaching Services/Prep Classes, Continuing
Education, and personal growth and development
workshops and seminars. The Washington
Institute’s D.C. office does not offer
certificates of Completion. Certification
Examinations are offered by the American
Naturopathic and Holistic Association, American
Reflexology Certification Board and the American
Association of Nutritional Consultants.
Professional Certification:
Certification is available through classroom
attendance, Distance Learning Education and
Examination through the American Naturopathic
and Holistic Association’s Arlington, VA
division. Contact the Administrative office at
202-686-8202. Upon becoming a member of the
Association students are entitled to attend
classes.

Iridology and Japanese Hara Analysis
The student will learn the analysis of the iris and how

The student will interview the client, perform
observations, make recommendations and test remedies.

completion of this program and submission of the written
exam the student will receive a certificate from the

Doctorate Program.
